That makes no sense. This is a state constitutional issue and neither you not I have read the appropriate constitutional guidelines because the writer of the article simply used the story to push legal pot (54% APPROVAL!).
Just because you want to spread THC damage to everyone doesn’t mean it should be forced on states that disagree and see the downsides that you pretend are minor.
Whether or not it is a Schedule 1 drug is an irrelevant issue to legalization decisions by individual states, and is completely irrelevant to the the topic of this article.
You know what, Craig? You are 100% correct. My comment had NOTHING to do with this article. I apologize for my error. I meant to post it on the below story. Thank you for pointing out my error.
Is this the part of the conversation where Craig doesn’t post anymore then claims in another comment section that I’ve never apologized for making any mistakes, or is this where Craig posts something like “thank you for admitting your error” and doesn’t add any personal attacks with it?
The law does need to change on the federal level. However, as a person who does not use pot, I dislike that it is being legalized primarily because there is no protection for non-smokers.
I live in an apartment and am subject to the stench of pot used by my downstairs neighbor as well as the stench in the neighborhood.
Pot smokers need to smoke in a self contained apparatus that does not vent to the outside world so that I (and others) have as much freedom to not participate as they do to smoke.
If smoking cigarettes inside your apartment is banned, smoking marijuana inside the unit should be banned too. Is it “legal” for people to smoke cigarettes in their apartments?
Just one more reason (the other being banking regulations) why marijuana needs to be removed as a Schedule I drug on the federal level.
