According to Business Wire, A.M. Best Co. is making available Best’s State Rate Filings — Express Delivery, a new downloadable Portable Document Format (PDF) version of the print edition of Best’s State Rate Filings™.
Included in the program are searchable and indexed monthly reports of filings that have received approval or filed for use by insurance companies in individual state insurance departments.
The PDF version is accessible prior to the print and can be searched as a single State Filing document or across multiple State Filing documents using Adobe’s Cataloging Technology.
On a monthly basis, state-specific PDFs for each commercial and personal line of insurance, including data on the overall impact of rate filings, are formed. Loss cost data is included where available.
Filings are listed by state, company, major line and program name, along with effective date and insurance department filing numbers (required by most insurance departments to facilitate further research by the subscriber).
Currently, A.M. Best offers rate-filing information on 31 states, covering approximately 90 percent of all direct premiums written nationwide.
A.M. Best is adding states to the service on a continuous basis.
