I can’t wait to see old Hank Greenberg & his sons Evan & Jeff frog marched out the door and into jail. They have done more harm than good to an industry that I served for over 40 years.

Every time I deal with AIG I feel as though I need to take a bath. The only problem is we need them so we all ***** ourselves and submit to their abuse. When will the independent agents of this world ban together and put the bad guys out of business??????

I think that if you want to investigate that company you should look how they fail to pay claims for accident victims in a timely way , because of them and allstate
I have a perminate learning disability which would have been make less serve if they paid on time allowing me to get treatment now it is too late, not to mention the epilepsy that I now have to deal with

Glad Mr. Spitzer is doing something, just don’t expect too much as a result. There will be some management changes. The fat pigs will leave and the thin ones will take their place at the trough. There will be fewer squeals of delight as they gorge themselves. In fact, it will be so quiet, you won’t even realize what’s happening.

I am unfamiliar with “income smoothing” products; what were they selling?

Since insurance is a business expense, AIG would sell you retroactive insurance the cost of which would substitute for company losses to make the bottom line appear better than it actually was.
I worked at AIG quite some time ago, the beginning of “claims made” forms. I am not surprised by the allegations against AIG, but be careful about wishing for the demise of the largest insurance company in the world. The tremors of that would be felt around the globe. Can anyone spell C-A-P-A-C-I-T-Y ?

since the accident I understand with all the accidents that the insurance companies
that concern head injuries they know waiting causes irreputable damage , the pills that I take now for the epilepsy that the accident caused have really saved me from suicide , but these pills expensive I was forced to close my busniess the policy’s both his and mine were small not alot of money still they have not payed , the accident broke 3 teeth , I have had surgery I still have sharp pains in the head among other symtoms I think that the Insurance commissioner from each state should revoke thier liscense to sell insurance when serious damage is done to people and they don’t pay

New York State ATtorney General who went after Martha and Enron picked a more worthy adversary. AIG responded but it stock plummetted about 35%, and its chair was eventually forced to resign or the company would be dismantled. Among other things they accused them of steling 35 billion in company stock from its shareholders and given to top executives. WOW.
THe more I study them, and their influence the more I relize they are the new world order. Probably the most powerful corporation in the world behind everything from the Enron debacle to trade with China to the Iraq and Afghan wars. They want new territories for them and their invested companies. THey are bigger than most countries of the world and like many they park themselves in the US and use our name and buy our politicians making americans hated and not them. It is a world of corporations hiding behind country flags. It is amazing.
