The article does not address weight and age of passangers in the front seat. I see many young children in the front seat and it has been my understanding that until a given minimum weight an airbag can be more deadly that a life saver. My own 12 year old wants to be in the front at 75LBS. Can anyone confirm the guidelines? Thank You,

i did a web search and came up with this: http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov

    #

Children age 12 and under are safest sitting properly restrained in the back seat. They should use child safety seats, booster seats or safety belts appropriate for their age and size.

I\’m sure there is other info out ther.
