Report: Highly Satisfied Customers Have Higher Auto Renewal Rates

    I agree with you 100% M. Agents knock on doors for commercial, but I tend to find the best long-term is to focus on personal lines growth and accomodate commercial. Especially if you are an independent…I find personal lines renewal rates much higher than the commercial ones.

    1. When a policy is escrowed billed (homeowners), people are much less likely to move it.

    2. When you have had an Auto claim and see your company in action, if they do a grat job you would definately be less likely to move. On the other hand if they do a terrible job I can almost gaurantee they will not see your premium come renewal.

    Commercial Lines – these people seem to shop there insurance every chance they can get. Since there is more premium involved, agents are always knocking on the doors asking for an opportunity to quote.

    I really don’t see the same competition in Personal Lines as I do Commercial.
