Allstate’s idea is simply ridiculous. You can exercise a “fit” body part and get some improvement. Once the brain gets hard and Alzheimers starts to set in it isn’t going to change. The brain can write all the checks it wants, but if the body can’t cash them it’s all for nothing.
Actually Emma, what you say is not true. Brain exercises have been shown to hold off deterioration in older people. Brain exercises. This has been all over the news for the past year or two. Reading, puzzles or other brain activity have been known to slow aging of the brain. Why is it so stupid to beleive that might be the case?
