The concept of selling id theft to individual consumers doesn’t work so well. The success is coming from selling id theft products to private companies that store consumers’ personal/confidential information. That way if an individual’s identity is compromised, the company is liable for any loss to the individual.
Actually with annual costs ranging from $15.00- $25.00, we have had great success “selling” the ID theft recovery endorsement. We have asked many of our carriers to roll-on this coverage to each renewal… it’s a no-brainer.
I am associated with a company called Zurvita that has a Identy theft product that is affordable and consumers are getting alot of good results with this company. In this tough economical time people need this product to protect themselves more than ever.
