    Dwight’s character works because his boss is a hormonally challenged, hyper-egoed megalomaniac. So I guess most of us in insurance can use a Dwight in our office.

    I have worked in the insurance industry for 20 years, and there is at least one Dwight in every place that I’ve worked.
    Sadly, these people always tend to be overlooked by management.

    This story makes sense. The only agency I worked at that was not extremely successful was full of nothing but “yes” men. An owner would come up with a stupid and expensive idea and nobody would have the balls to tell him it was a stupid idea. They would just mumble about it and wait for it to fail.
