i can see this going no where! if the judge is going to limit the scope, then this is actually going to cost both parties more money for court time and lawyers. purchasing stock/holding stock does not preclude you from putting any money into the company. you did that from the initial purchase of the stock. now on occasion, if they felt to give money as a stockholder to individuals as a reward for good solid retention/dividends, then i can see that as an option – not mandatory or predicated that it’s continued action. but the company that gives these rewards, should have the funds already available from it’s own cash. to me this sounds like AIG finding ways to spend more money in order to get money that it can’t obtain to pay the gov’t back. wonder how much this is going to cost, and how the gov’t approved this lawsuit proceeding since we as a taxpayer have controlling authority?

sounds like another way to extend situation!

We all have somewhat of a personal vendetta agains AIG, be real. I contend with Wudchuck even though spends way too much time on this site voicing his opinions. Afterall, opinions are like @#%holes. Everyone has one!

i don’t have a vendetta against AIG, i think that this is a waste of time. who is going to win this war? nobody. infact you are going to spend more money. that is taxpayer money. i believe as in any company they could have filed for bankruptcy and probably come out better sometimes. we all learn by mistakes and sometimes they are costly. look, hartford is getting tarp money, but it had to purchase a bank to get the money…um..um..needed to purchase a financial institution? they had to have money for that one, so why get money from the gov’t. it’s ridiculous, did the gov’t grow money trees lately?

The problem with wudchuck is not that he spends too much time here or has a vendetta, it’s that he doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about. He’s a complete blithering idiot who doesn’t understand the things he writes about.

Wudchuck, have you heard of Twitter? Try it out. You can talk all you want and if you have no followers, like here, you won’t cause any harm, since no one will be reading your tweets.

So; do I risk being called a dreamer.or an idiot if I propose that the common shareholder who was brutalized by Sullivan’s malfeasance & Pisano’s outright crookedness & self-corruption, be redressed as much as possible in any settlement.
