    I agree. They must be having a problem with their lobbyist at a local level, but good luck at the Federal level. This is the first carrier I heard of that wants the Fed involved.

    If Travelers could get a “commission” or the fed on their side they think they can get “favors” with other issues. Shakey at best. Besides, every time I hear Travelers I hear Primerica. Every time I hear Primerica I see part-time yahoos selling something they know nothing about and replacing things they know even less about. It all stinks right from the get-go.

    If Travelers is promoting this, there is no question it would harm consumers.

    This will start a trend of the insurance industry cherry-picking when they do and do not want Federal oversight.
