Personally, I use all of my flex spending account each year on the extremely high copays I have on the four drugs I use to survive. Think I’ll just quit my job, go on welfare and medicaid. I’d obviously be better off under this administration!!!
Holy B.S. Robin, I wonder if Outraged has ever been on Welfare? Just try it and you’ll find that medical coverage is very limited, and very few doctors participate; it’s even worse for dental work, all you’ll get is pull, no restoration or preventive care. I’ll bet Outraged thinks that sitting in the county jail with 3 hots and a cot is a really good deal too….NOT! Just think about what you’re about to say before blurting it out and you’ll see how dumb that was..
Get rid of the FSA and expand the HSA or HRA programs. The reality is we are going to see increasingly higher deductibles and co-pays and a medical savings account is going to be the only mechanism we will have to put away money when the need arrives. It can not be a use or loose concept it must be a method where individuals can save for when the need arrives. How do you expect our elected officials to understand the needs when they have one of the best health plans going. Hopefully our elected officials employ the concept of eating their own garbage and get the same plan they deploy on all of us. I doubt it!!!
