Personally I liked what was used 150 years ago. Coal heated knife laid on the tounge, if it burned you lied, if not you told the truth.

A face to face discussion and a few basic questions should give you a read on a person. If you can’t get a feel off of that , you should try another profession where lying doesn’t matter……..like politics.

With 99.999% of my business being done via phone/email/internet, I can’t see my client’s eyes! Guess I’ll have to listen for that little shake in their voice…

It’s also been reported that lateral eye movement is an indicator of higher IQ’s. These studies seem to always somehow be dis-proven evnentually. Just like how accepted facts of forensic fire science associated with arson are now being proven to be totally inacurrate and have sent numerous people to prison for life.

True – people do lie all of the time. To know one must develop some basic skills. First, listen to your client. You can tell when you ask a question how they answer it versus other questions. Second, watch their eyes and their facial movements as well as their body language. People squirm when they lie. Last but not least, we do find out the truth when reports are run. I tell people this and you would not believe how answers are changed after it. Last but not least get all the proper paperwork signed. If they say other people do not drive a car, live in the house or some other thing, you have their signature. Before they sign though, explain to them the outcome of the action they are taking. It can make all the difference in the world.

Leave it to some @$$ to bring Fox News into it, which of course brought Obama into it.

I believe you’re incorrect John Paul. I had to straighten it out to be correct for you.

But to the other poster…Fox News doesn’t lie. They are sometimes wrong, but they are the only non liberal biased, challenge to the democrats out there. And at least half of what they say is completely amazing and true. The other half is crap and not well researched. Now considering 50% accuracy is usually bad you’d think that would make Fox News bad…Well yes and no. Like I said, everything they say is about democrat lies and B.S. so if half of it is true, then there’s a lot of bad things going on…

By the way do the research…Their concepts are pretty accurate when it comes to the liberal agenda. As an example: A liberal station might report that Bush had the slowest percentage of economic growth, and then they compare Obama’s saying why Obama is better for the people. First, it’s a relative percentage, so after a huge recession the numbers should be much higher since there huge room for growth to the original capacity. Second: These numbers actually prove that in a smaller economy, (given that Bush W had 52 months of consecutive private sector job growth) that Bush provided higher tax revenues when compared to the size of the economy, a better situation for the average American than Obama in comparison to the size of the economy, (who has had monumental losses in the private sector consecutively for now over 12 AND added more public sector jobs expenditures that the shrinking private sector can’t support) and pretty much did everything more efficient than Obama, but of course when Fox News reports “Bush was better for the American people, 52 months of job growth” it’s bull and when CNN reports “Bush had the slowest economic growth in U.S. history” it’s completely true eh? It’s all about twisting the words my friend, and Fox doesn’t do that, they just mess up. So quit with the mocking Fox News ploy. They are about the only honest (though sometimes stupid and too quick to report) station out there.

Just another example of the posterior anatomy! My point was that this is not a political blog. It’s not about Bush, Obama, Fox News or liberal agendas. If you can’t comment on the subject matter of the article, then direct your comments to the appropriate forum or shut up.
