“…14 percent of partners, 17 percent of managing directors and 29 percent of vice presidents.”
first of all, we need to stop putting numbers or percentages that you have to be black, white, minority or even female. our society today needs to stop! that would be like stating how many football players are female? NONE, at least not at the NFL Level. but that does not mean she or whomever can not do the job. this is the critical part – can they do the job and are they better than any other candidate?
Numbers are only part of the story but they are obviously part of this case. Maybe we should listen to their story since they were actually there and you were not since you don’t work there….or do you?
i am tired of hear about the numbers being used… if there are any other issues, then i can see a lawsuit. it’s like playing the race card… let’s stop and think of who is qualified or not, not just because… now if there were things like harrasment, i don’t have a problem w/the suit… but don’t play the numbers because it seems (again, appears to seem) that there are not enough woman in the higher paygrades….
