“Once again, when she’s in trouble, the American people step forward and help her. It’s great because this is what America’s all about,” Hai said.

That’s right, America is all about lawsuits…even foreigners have figured this out. I feel bad for the accident, but come on, the initial suit was 1.8B.

In capitalism, when you can’t find a customer, you lower your price. Even the federal government understands that. The premiums have now dropped by 20% to 40%, depending on your age, circumstance and state. If you considered this pre-existing coverage plan before and found it too costly, give it a look now. best would be to check “Penny Health” for your health insurance

We’re becoming an international joke. She assumed the risk, caused her own injury, and WE PAY? Let the Chinese olympic committee figure out how to patch her up. $10,000,000, tax free, goes to foreign doctors. Wake up America.

Probly China doesn’t fully cover her medicine cost. Regardless, the $10M was agreed on 13 years ago when she first got injured, and hopefully the new settlement will make things easier for her. But then again, rumors are that she is quite well off in Beijing. Although her monthly salary is $230, her actual incoming adds up to $5K. I don’t know if she needs $10M, or $1.8B. Her lawyer said they will use the $10M up tho.
