Insurance broker Marsh announced two executive appointments.
Michael Cormier, who most recently led Marsh Risk Consulting, has been named to the position of head of Portfolio Development. In this role, Cormier will oversee acquisitions, strategic alliances and partnerships in line with the firm’s strategic priorities. He is based in New York and will report to Courtney Leimkuhler, who will assume the role of CFO of Marsh on March 1, 2015.
In addition, Michael Poulos has joined Marsh as head of Client Advisory Services. In this role, Poulos will oversee Marsh Risk Consulting and Claims Advocacy. Poulos joins Marsh from Oliver Wyman, an operating company of Marsh & McLennan Companies, where he most recently was head of the New York office, and the leader of the firm’s Financial Services business in the Americas. Poulos is based in New York and will report to John Drzik, president, Global Risk and Specialties.
