Could drones be used for Terrorists? Could they be loaded up with Ebola or some other deadly virus or C-4 explosives and flown into a crowd? Drones can be used for good or bad. Let’s hope the bad crowd doesn’t get them to do harm.
Drones are a tool just like any other inanimate object. Sure, they can be loaded with the items you listed, but so can a car, truck or SUV and with a lot more quantities and it is easier from a parked vehicle. That is why the terrorists use those in Iraq and Afghanistan. I won’t go into the triggering mechanisms for obvious reasons.
I’m pretty sure there are lot’s of things a drone can do to cause mischief like flying into a sports stadium (like the US Open tennis last year)and vehicles might have a hard time doing that. How about flying one into the path of an airliner on approach? Many of those cases have already been reported. A determined killer would not have to be on the scene as they can stand off, look at a camera picture and do a lot of harm.
I own an expensive drone that I fly simply as a hobby. None of my policies cover liability so there is a high demand for coverage. I have an FAA license, but that was a $5 check sent to the FAA. My drone and others like it could be used in a negative manner, just as the previous poster stated – like your car. And there are plenty of insurance options (required by law) for cars.

Looking for markets that offer hull & liability coverage on a standalone basis.
Can anyone advise?
