    Read into his comment…..”creates opportunities” means the tough competition just got a bit tougher. Reads a bit like a kid not picked for a playground game.

    Berkley’s son, President and Chief Operating Officer W. Robert Berkley, Jr., said the consolidation going on in the marketplace right now creates opportunity for W.R. Berkley and other carriers “on multiple levels.”

    As Berkley has multiple companies under their banner offering many of the same products and niches, perhaps they should start by merging their own companies.
