So if I ever bought a chocolate bar made with any of this slave labor produced cocoa, can I be sued too?

Dave, of course you can. That is what lawyers do. If you buy a toy made in China with lead paint, you might also be sued.

The solution to this problem has to come from the Ivory Coast government, not the US Supreme Court. It’s the snake or a stone situation there. So do they work and live? Or find no work and starve? If Nestle buys from another country what happens to all those children? The Ivory Coast is not the U.S. where our government programs insures that they will all be housed, fed and educated. “most people are poor and live mostly in overcrowded slums.” “Those who live in poverty lack adequate housing and schools, as well as decent health care, clean water, and electricity” “Unemployment is severe in the cities.”
