I don’t see why we’re limiting the workplace to forcing employees to wear devices that monitor how long they sit. Surely employers have every right to place objects inside their employees as well. Their turf, their rules, right? I think electronic rings and inserts should be worn on genitals to measure how much urine is being expelled, and gauge sexual preoccupation as well. How much valuable work-time is lost to fantasies, and escapes to the bathroom to get a sneaky break? Rectal inserts could also monitor methane, which not only affects how “green” our workplace is, but is clearly a safety issue as well.
Employees need to realize that in the long run, we’re really just trying to help them.
