I am a senior citizen concerned with the cost of mail order prescriptions. My doctor prescribes Lyrica for arthritis pain. The cost in the last year has increased from $40 to $90. We are on a pretty strict budget as most seniors are. Are there any options?

Have you tried using a discount card like OneRX or GoodRX. Their prices are much better than Express Scripts on many prescriptions.

What about the high cost of insulin. I pay something like $159 co-pay. Lyrica is close to $100, Pristiq is close to $100 co-pay. Is there any remedy for seniors who are in the do-nut hole? Something really needs to be done about the cost of all medicines. It has become ridiculous. If you want to retire, you cannot afford to. I went on Saturday and picked up Pristiq, Invokana, Armour and Myrbetriq and walked out of the drugstore after paying $541.00 for my share of these drugs. This does not include my Lyrica and Humulog and Lantus, which I have to get filled this month also. Choice to make, eat or buy medicine.

With the high cost of drugs, which have some of the worst side effects imaginable, there are alternatives. Look on line for TTAC: A Global Quest. Yes most of it talks about cancer, but the treatments can be used for almost anything. It’s worth a shot and if nothing else, it’s not bad for you and the side effects won’t kill you. One way to stop the drug companies from poisoning us for profit is to stop buying them. Watch the videos and make your own decision.

Express Scripts first has to get their service under control before you can talk about saving money.
I left your service do to failed refills.

Carriers should ne aware of any endorsement

We have seen companies reduce their approved formularies and often, no suitable generic is available. Thank you Obamacare!
