I find it very interesting that every year we hear how this year is going to be a worse hurricane season than the average. And many times, the reason given is global warming. Then we have another very low hurricane season and no reason is give except a sigh of relief. Some year, and maybe it is this year, there will be a bad hurricane season and it will be just the proof needed that climate change is reeking havoc on the planet and therefore we should tax ourselves to death, create drought in CA, eliminate all domestic fossil fuel, predict Armageddon, etc. Most people have heard the cry wolf for so long, even if it was true, then it is ho hum.
