More and more athletes are pulling out of the Olympics for a very good reason. Even if there was no Zika virus, Rio is not a good place with health hazards, crime rampant. Even the President of Brazil was impeached for the handling of the Olympics.
The notion that people should be able to irresponsibly visit a country with a known pandemic of a dangerous disease, go down there and act how they want to, spending extensive time outside wearing little clothing, and then collect INSURANCE, or even, schedule such a trip, with the pandemic common knowledge, change their minds, cancel the trip, and collect INSURANCE for the cost of the trip, boggles credibility.
Anyone who does all of that deserves whatever fate befalls them, and if some greedy idiot was stupid enough to sell them insurance against Zika and they believed it, and then they don’t get paid, they really don’t have anyone to sob about but themselves.
