OSHA is a bloated government bureaucracy full of rules and regulations. They have been around for a long time and how much good have they really done? Beware of – Hello, I am from the government and am here to help.

OSHA has ~2,400 inspectors covering more than 8,000,000 businesses. That’s more than 3,000 businesses per inspector. Working 7/365, each inspector would have to visit 9 businesses a day to keep up with their workload.

Does that still sound bloated to you?

Given their budget, yes they are bloated and worthless. Use the money on something worthwhile and let the insurance industry work with customers on safety issues.
