Ok, what? So…Obama is clueless then? He also knew you weigh immigration based on the opportunity available in a country or you risk destroying it. He just has a different definition of what that is of which I don’t agree or disagree too strongly.
Supporting immigration controls is not synonymous with being against capitalism, in fact, being for blanket immigration regardless of economic impact would seem to be incompatible with the principles of capitalism. It would definitely gear more towards socialism, in the sense that social good takes priority over economic security. And even then it is pushing it, because that generally only applies in state for countries that operate like that. Not for outer countries.
Closed borders or open borders do not determine whether a state is capitalistic or socialist.
All the money for the corporations! This law will be released! Work your people 40 hours a week and pay them by the hour it’s easy! Oh, I forgot you want to suck the life out of them!
I wonder how many people out there making $35,000 salary and being asked to work 60+ hours a week with no extra pay would agree. You take a job thinking you are working 40 hours a week and earning about $17 an hour only to find out you have to put in 60+ hours and it averages $10 an hour. I believe the law was only to apply to those making less than $40,000 a year. Yet Congress finds no problem giving themselves a raise. They earn $174,000+ a year plus benefits.
Small business drives the economy and jobs creation. Typical of Obama, this is too much, way too fast. Influenced politically by the elite crowd; who are disconnected with business or middle class realities.
Corporate America has taken advantage of their employees over the years and still do! Yes, I get the small business issue well then pay them hourly and keep them at 40 hours a week! Americans have a life no need to work 60 hours a week because your salary and making 36k a year! Busting work out with integerty for the man who makes 51 million Dollars a year not including bounces!
