    Democrats like mandates, don’t they. I am not sure how alleviating traffic congestion will create jobs.

      Sure, and the burdensome 1968 mandate that all cars have safety belts didn’t save a single life either.

        How about that 1937 safety glass mandate too? Is anyone really pining for the good old days of decapitation by windshield?

    Here’s an idea: maybe it should be mandated that we all have a computer chip on our shoulder, that way we won’t walk into each other or walk out in front of a motor vehicle – think of the lives that will be saved!
