Big Pharma is being put on notice. Drug prices don’t have to be this expensive. One thing that may help is getting the FDA to approve drugs quicker to reduce expense. One should not have to resort to getting cheaper drugs from out of the country to get a reasonable price.

Competition must be increased, via regulatory controls revised to be less of a hurdle to start up companies. Conglomerates which include pharma cos., existing, started recently, or started in the future, is one way to spread drug research costs over a broader asset (equity) base. Hooray for regulatory rollbacks by PresidenTrump!
If you reduce the time the FDA is able to study a drug and its effects, will you advocate making it easier for people to sue the pharmaceutical companies in an effort to maintain some level of accountability?

No. I do not support reducing safety standards. You falsely assume one follows the other. Same level of accountability, or less if a specific standard is illogical / unsupported by recent facts.
Ron didn’t say anything about reducing standards, just argued there may not be enough time to study a drugs’ long-term effects before approving it for use if the FDA speeds up how long they take to approve a drug.
Your argument is illogical / unsupported by the recent post

This is a part of HEALTH CARE SPPECIFICCS. CS = Cost Savings methods. It’s importance is due to the cost of life altering meds cost being 35% of all meds costs in recent years, and rising to soon become 50% of all meds costs.
I know you’re not talking about me because i ma neither a liberal nor an advocate for more lawsuits.
I take it your position is to reduce studies of new medications then leave no recourse if someone is harmed by a poorly tested pharmaceutical, correct?
