It is a good idea to fix the technically flawed aspects of the TRA-17. IT should also be made permanent, rather than be allowed to expire. One ‘fix-it’ bill should do the trick. MAGA.
One down-voter, thus far, must think a flawed tax cut bill is ok, or objects to keeping more of their money after the scheduled expiry date of the TRA-17.
Those who object to their tax cuts could give me the money they saved. Of course, they won’t because they are hypocrite Socialists who think they’re better able to tell EVERYONE how the government should spend OUR money.
I do not object to tax cuts, but i am against the bill that was written and passed by Congress, with no Democratic input or support (sound familiar?) and signed by President Trump.
My objection is that it just handed hundreds of billions of dollars to companies unconditionally. While a very slight few, about 5%, of workers saw a bonus or wage increase, most of the money has gone to investors and buybacks to increase share value.
I would have preferred a cut to the bottom 80% of wage earners, and tax credits, not deductions, to companies who come back, expand operations that require more workers, and/or increase wages at least double the rate of inflation, for all of their workers. Put the money in the hands of those that will spend it, demand will increase, and the economy will actually boom.
Ron, sounds to me like you don’t like your crumbs. The vast majority of the people got tax cuts they do like. For Progressives saying they are going to roll them back and install their Progressive taxes back to Obama’s is guaranteed to rally opposition to them. By the way, the economy is booming just like the President predicted. We are already doing twice on the GDP of Obama and will likely go to three times higher. What is wrong with that?

Agent,
You were saying something about the popularity of the tax cuts?
Ron – your link and the poll is invalid. Don’t you know Fox News is a left-wing source whose polls can’t be considered accurate because of their liberal bias? Try using a right-wing conservative poll next time (end sarcasm!)
