If the title is true, why would we pursue an aggressive schedule of implementation of AI vehicles on the road, thus endangering the public more so than is the case today?

No one can predict what a robot car will do when faced with two choices, save their owner or the other party.

That’s not how computer programming works since — aside from Terminator-style science fiction — the car will take whatever action(s) it has been programmed to do in any given scenario.

The Terminator is not science fiction. Another leftist liberal conspiracy, trying to make the worlds population believe another hoax, lull us all into a sense of comfort, thinking that the terminator won’t happen as planned!

Another attempt to trick everyone into believing that our number one national security threat is climate change!

In reality, our number 1 threat is obviously sentient robots from the future, sent back to eradicate any threat. They’ll kill us all, but all you care about is saving the environment! Do you think the terminators of the future will care about CARBON EMISSIONS!? No! Wrong!

Go learn about oceans, rivers, estuaries, tributaries, and any other aries you can think of!

Confused, if you are using my moniker to try to make me look bad, you are a total idiot.

You can’t guarantee that an AI car will make the right decision. It will be often wrong. Tesla can’t even tell the difference between an 18 wheeler and a car.

“We choose to … not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone…”

Also, “Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort….”

Apparently, it is not easy to teach a committed Progressive Democrat autonomous car lover a little common sense.
