Way to vet your sources. The “lowest lost time” states are all monopolistic. No wonder AmTrust is always in hot water, they can’t even survey their own data properly.

Michigan is not a monopolistic state, though the other ‘lowest lost time’ states are.

I would have thought “barista wrist” was caused by man bun maintenance . . .

Too funny. Many years ago, I had a client who was deluged with “carpal tunnel” injuries. The employees worked at a security service monitoring company. Medical studies have shown that keyboard work does not cause carpal tunnel. We traced the source to some activist employees who were coaching co-workers on how to file a claim. Since the client was a nonsubscriber to the Texas workers comp system, we cured (pun intended) the problem by amending the work injury benefit plan to exclude repetitive motion injuries.
