Litigation finance will be one of those what-goes-around-comes-around practices. If you finance litigation against others, then others will finance litigation against you. So, we all wind up stabbing each other in the back whilst lawyers walk away with more money. Isn’t that nice. We are going to litigate our society into the tomb.
all in the feelgood subject matter of “helping the little guy” by “making greedy corporations pay”…and profiting off it from a distance…wonder how many speculative funds exist for defense attorneys who have clients who cannot afford a real attorney? Oops…but wouldn’t that feel good, too?
