Where’s the proof that Obama’s judges are behind social inflation? It makes ideological sense in a superficial way, but I doubt that the effect is real. Almost all social inflation is at the state court level, and there it’s for real. Federal judges, Republican or Democrat, are almost always better because they don’t stand for election like state judges, who are the plaintiff bar’s lackeys. The whole notion of “social inflation” shows what a failure our so-called justice system is. We have underhanded lawyers, profligate juries and venal judges. God help us all.
