Law enforcement is quick to set up stings and hand out tickets to drivers for failure to stop for people in or near a crosswalk however I don’t see these same efforts applied to pedestrians who cross inappropriately, wear dark clothes at night in bad weather. Deaths will continue and probably increase until pedestrians are educated/accountable for their safety.
