You know, I wonder if it would make sense for Biden to negotiate with Trump to buy his healthcare plan that Trump never had the opportunity to roll out. Nothing else has worked and it’s worth a shot. Win/win for everybody. Trump makes a little cash and we all get the “phenomenal” plan Trump promised us.

Yes! 2021 is finally the year we’ll get to replace the ACA with HHEALTTH CARRE SPECIFFICSS!

This just shows your extremity. There were specifics. And plans.

And pieces were done that each had an affect.

I’m getting reeeaaalllly tired of this Trump never had a plan nonsense.

You know Bob is right, Trump did have a plan with a lot of specifics. In fact, it was given to Leslie Stahl as Trump was running away as fast as he could from the interview while holding down his fake hair.

Yep, wish he would have stuck around to show us the specifics of that plan!

And I say this as someone who would support Biden if he did a public option, key words, option.

As I’ve said more than 50 times.

You and I once talked and I showed you republican plans, a $5k debit card plan option, and then you said the reason you didn’t know was the fault of republicans for not getting their plans out there.

I said no, it’s the left refusing to report on them, and this was way back in 2011 Rosenblat, and you’re still saying “no plans” as they did back then.

It gets old. Say it with me, there were specifics, there were plans, and MOVE ON.

Donald Trump never introduced a plan to legislators. No repubican plan was introduced for a vote in the House or Senate. You’re wrong. Show me a bill with a number.

You’re right Bob, I didn’t know that R’s put out some of those ideas back in 2011 until you brought it to my attention.

            Then 5 years went by
Then R’s took all 3 branches

Then Polar said they had HEALLTH CARE SPECIFFICS and Trump said he had the best plan ready for a vote n 2 weeks.

4 years went by and they never brought their “plan” to vote.

I’m saying Trump and Polar’s 2016 “plan” never existed.
I agree R’s had some decent ideas 5 years before that

“Donald Trump never introduced a plan to legislators. No repubican plan was introduced for a vote in the House or Senate. You’re wrong. Show me a bill with a number”

            This is false.

            Provably, false.

He also invited democrats to debate a new plan, and they refused to attend unless it was starting off the ACA.

Then Polar said they had HEALLTH CARE SPECIFFICS and Trump said he had the best plan ready for a vote n 2 weeks.”

Whether they have all 3 branches is irrelevant. All democrats blocked plans that could make it through, and 3 republicans were the issue. The based plan to work off of was broad, they went for open debate which democrats blocked.

They made public many of the portions, and many passed on their own through executive orders. He had plans.

Not all plans can pass through budget reconciliation.

As for your comment on all three chambers, this does not guarantee passage, and you know it.

4 years went by and they never brought their “plan” to vote.

“4 years went by and they never brought their “plan” to vote.”

You have to first get it to floor, which the democrats blocked happening.

“I’m saying Trump and Polar’s 2016 “plan” never existed.
I agree R’s had some decent ideas 5 years before that”

Yes, they did. One of them even had a horrible name, and while democrats then tore it apart, it was a very basic plan that they moved to get on the floor specifically to debate the bill, much like what is happening now on the stimulus. If they weren’t using reconciliation, blocking it from the floor kills the bill, therefore if you can’t use reconciliation, which you can’t for most complex bills, you have to say here is my general idea for a plan, let’s put it up for vote and to start committees (who then mange portions of the bill before it gets to the floor) Trump did go through that process for a fact. And democrats said they would not take part in any committee or have any floor debate on any bill that wasn’t the ACA.

You’re wrong here. Get over it.

So, in summation, the fits the media threw and democrats did saying he didn’t have a plan, made it so there was no plan able to be had.

Ergo why I have a problem with this style of debate.

He had plans. Now, let’s move forward, and talk about getting bills to the floor, and blame the folks who actually refused to bring anything other than the ACA to the floor, which you repeatedly refuse to do.

Democrats take advantage of this, and know what they are doing, you’re just not well enough versed in politics to know it.

And again, I say this as someone who nearly Voted Biden, and only what some might call petty issues made me against it

I support his tax plan, new stimulus bill over the republican one, the child tax credit expansion, the housing credit expansion, the day care program credit expansion, which Trump wanted to do but republicans never wanted it because they are losers who want to do nothing too often, and other aspects.

So, you, saying the same defenses to democrats for years, with some raging obsession to call them hypocrites that is so strong you once insulted your own step father as a hypocrite for collecting unemployment, might want to dial back this nonsense and reflect.

Because the partisan issue here is you, and the “I want to believe the other ideology is just inept and evil” is you as well. I believe both are. And I refuse to say something that isn’t true about this healthcare scenario to protect it being better. Maybe you need to improve your ideals.

Yes, it’s a bit of a contradiction when we hear someone state that they don’t want the Gov’t involved in their healthcare but they are looking forward to the Medicare age.

….Which is why Medicare for All should become reality. Let it compete with insurance, and that will be that. The free market can decide.
