Let’s not confuse a lack of infrastructure investment over the last 20 years with a weather event that is unlikely to reoccur in the foreseeable future. When you fail to keep capacity up with demand — think relocation, building, diverting investment to alternative energy, etc. — it’s not going to be there when you need it the most . . . . a la Texas.
As the current administration and party in “control” likes to say . . . . do not let a good crisis go to waste. They will milk this for all it is worth.

With the current trend of rhetoric toward climate change and the trend politically, we need to become familar with the term “energy poverty”. The elderly and lower income folks will feel the greatest impact of this type of poverty.
Only in man’s hubris would it be possible for us to consider that we have an impact on the climate of the Earth.
Man made global cooling from the late 1960s through early 1970s morphed into man made global warming through the implementation of junk science in the 1990s and early 2000s.
With no discernible change in global surface temperatures in 2 decades, it is now just ‘climate change’. Articles like this are inevitable when you ride the fence without any debate allowed to happen.
