SAN Group Adds 16 New Member Agencies
Satellite Agency Network (SAN) Group Inc. added 16 independent member agencies to the group in the first half of 2021.
SAN, the founding master agency of SIAA, is now comprised of more than 390 independent agencies writing more than $941.8 million in total combined premium. SAN attributes the recent growth to increased interest of captive agents in diverging from the exclusive channel and seeking independence as well as existing agency owners expanding their service and product offerings in pursuit of additional income generating opportunities.

- Oakwood Elite Insurance Group of Portsmouth, NH
- Schiappa Insurance Agency, LLC of Coventry, RI

- Sterling Bridge Insurance Agency of Worcester, MA
- Stowe Insurance Agency of Stowe, VT
Other agencies that joined SAN Group this year are located in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
UFirst Joins Valley Insurance Agency Alliance
UFirst Insurance Agency in St. Louis, Mo., has joined the independent insurance agency network, Valley Insurance Agency Alliance (VIAA).
UFirst Insurance Agency was founded in 2021 by owner Bryce Youngberg. The full-service agency – which specializes in auto, home, and life insurance – serves both Missouri and Illinois.
Youngberg has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance industry, having worked as a producer for one of the largest property/casualty insurance providers in the U.S.
Founded in 2006, VIAA serves nearly 150 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Illinois. It is the regional founding member for the Strategic Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA).
Keystone Adds Loman-Ray Insurance Group of Illinois
Independent agency network, Keystone Insurers Group (Keystone) continues its expansion in the Great Lakes region by bringing Loman-Ray Insurance Group (Loman-Ray) of Broadlands, Illinois, into its community.
Loman-Ray has 40 years’ experience serving Central Illinois clients in the areas of personal and commercial lines, farm/crop and hail, and individual and group health; developing a niche in the forming of association groups. In January 2018, Loman-Ray purchased Harris Insurance and WAB Insurance, merging all three agencies into Loman-Ray Insurance Group. President Brian Loman joined the agency in 2000.
Keystone Insurers Group has almost 300 independent agency partners in 17 states.
United Valley Insurance Services Adds Corbin Souza Insurance Agency
Corbin Souza Insurance Agency of Clovis, Calif., has joined United Valley Insurance Services Inc.
Corbin Souza Insurance Agency was founded in 2010 with a focus on personal lines. Over the years, his agency’s commercial lines book of business has grown. Corbin began his career working at Clovis Unified School District, where he created relationships that later became his insurance clients.
Founded in 1983, United Valley Insurance Services is an exclusive membership network of over 85 independently owned and operated insurance agencies with more than 100 locations in the Western U.S. United Valley Insurance Services and its member agencies sell and service just under $1 billion in total written premium and have direct access to more than 60 insurance company markets nationwide.
