I wonder why the Federal Government didn’t do these common sense ideas for their Navigators. We are talking about the most personal information of millions of citizens. Sebelius just couldn’t bring herself to do background checks, require training etc etc. There are a bunch of thugs out there who are getting paid good money and they are advising wrong and no telling what else. What a joke.
Agent –
You’ve used two totally incompatible terms in your first sentence – “Federal Government” and “common sense.” Congrats to Texas for making an effort to protect people.
Agent – too much Federal government or not enough? When the Feds institute regulation, it’s too much. When they leave it up to the State to do on their own, it’s not enough. Make up your mind Sybil.
As a claims adjuster in the State of Texas I can tell you that these Texas regulations have nothing to do with safeguarding information and making sure that navigators know what they are doing and has everything to do with making Navigators pay to get certified (which they State will get) and Rick Perry doing everything he can to prevent citizens from signing up for healthcare.
DLM, if they are running back round checks, How is that a bad thing? How is this preventing anyone from signing up?
I need a license and I go through back round info on every renewal. Why not them?
