Too bad the affluent parents didn’t have to pay the tab themselves instead of their insurance company. No lesson learned for them or their son. The family should have to match what the insurance company settled for to the one family; and the same for any other’s who receive payment in any amount.

Becca, do you think the Affluent parents will get a renewal offer from the company?

Agent, agree. Non-renewal the Auto as soon as legally possible. Non-renewal the Homeowners and Personal Liability and Umbrella policy. Becca, yes, and the JUDGE should match the amount paid out too since he has made a judgement that an AFFLUENT boy should not be held responsible. Insurance carriers cannot deem a boy AFFLUENT. It’s called consequences, and this boy and his family are not going to learn. Boy, just think about the money that passed under the table for this one!

Well, perhaps the Auto Assigned Risk Pool will take the boy on or perhaps Progressive for a premium they won’t like, but will pay. These parents have done an abominable job raising this boy with a silver spoon and he apparently has easy access to the booze as well.
