A social media campaign to reduce daily traffic deaths when one of the top reasons for traffic deaths in Tejas is distracted driving? And they’re going to use twitter (#EndTheStreakTX)?
Obviously texting and driving is extremely dangerous and has impacted traffic incidents, but this “record” goes back 18 years. The first iPhone (as we know them today) came out in 2008 … so it’s safe to presume there are at least 8 years where fatalities could not have been attributed to texting while driving.

Yeah. That oughta do it.
Someone please mention how much texting and driving is directly related to this.
