If medical marijuana is truly medicine, why is it sold by private companies that are not already pharmacies? After all, you need a prescription, right?

We all know the answer: “medical” marijuana is a scam in most states.

In California, medical marijuana clinics were run by potheads and every high school student knew you could buy a phony Medical Marijuana Card for about $100. With that, the dude running the “medical clinic” would just wave off the fact you didn’t have a prescription.

“All cool, dude. What kind of high, I mean ‘medicine’, do you want? Maui Wowie? Rasta Slama? You name it, we got it.”

Easy. Because it’s still listed as a Schedule 1 drug and there are many uncertainties around how the Fed will handle companies selling it legally under State law
