So… What percentage of those ‘fees’ go to the INSURED driver who gets rear-ended by the uninsured? We lost our car to our insurance company b/c the damage was more than the worth of the car (Daewoo). So, here we are with higher premiums, and one vehicle…
I had a lapse of 4 days back in Dec and am told that even if I pay the fee, I still can’t get my registration renewed for 90 days– no waiver for going to work. People w/DUIs at least get a waiver to go to work.
