The High Councellor of the Kingdom of Florida is too important to visit with lowly insurance company executives to discuss their concerns about the real climate in Florida. I see now why this happened. Royalty has no concerns with commoners. They just don’t show enough respect as in bowing and kissing rings and so forth. Our mistake. Much more fun cavorting with the royalty from other countries than paying attention to real concerns.

Another worthless trip by Florida government officials – talk about wasting taxpayer money! What a bunch of crap!

I really do not understand how the CFO’s visit to London will help any of the citizens of FL. The climate’s effect on insurance is really quite simple — when the wind blows, rates go up. Due to the increase activity of the wind blowing in recent years, many insurers have been bankrupted and/or left the state entirely due to poor management and grossly inadequate rates.

I think what the CFO should be more concerned with is how the state-funded Citizens Property Insurance Corp is going to handle claims when the next big storm hits. Maybe this will educate Alex Sink on the hazards of underpricing property insurance in an extremely catastrophe-prone territory.

“Royalty has no concerns with commoners,” except of course sending out their armed thugs to collect extortion payments-oops! I mean “taxes”-from the unwashed masses. How else could the queen and her court afford their champagne and caviar breakfast every morning? You don’t expect them to eat just anything do you? And what about their polo ponies? Do you have any idea what the monthly room and board cost for those? How can you be so insensitive?

Michael, not quite, she is setting up her own future in private industry…get it? If Citizens blows up after the wind blows, she will be in a position to profit from it via private industry. She is introducing herself to the overseas markets.
