Black mould (and most fungi, btw) is susceptible to copper sulphate water solutions. Dilluting the salt in paint, even when some bluish tint may appear depending on the amount of SO4Cu added, will prevent mould from growing. Bleach (sodium hypochlorite) will decolorate stains and kill the mould and most sporae, but not all.
I’m an old guy and we never had problems with mold until trial lawyers began searching for ways to bump up their revenue.
