Ward Morse has been named vice president and producer of Willis’ Georgia Employee Benefits Practice in Atlanta.
He will be responsible for new business activity and sales for the insurance broker, and will report to Chris Panettiere, the company’s Retail Employee Benefits Practice Leader in Georgia.
Willis said Morse’s appointment is part of Willis’ strategy to grow its client base among companies with 100 to 500 employees.
Morse joins Willis from Mercer where he was a producer concentrating on client companies ranging in size from 50 to 500 employees.
He began his career as an underwriter for Prudential HealthCare in Atlanta, where he also held positions in the Group Health Division.
