Moore, a small government Republican, thinks it would be just great to have the government put trained snipers at all schools to ‘protect’ us. Really? I know, let’s hire some consultants, do a few studies, then re-do those studies with new consultants, and then let’s discuss it with some lobbyists, and finally decide to give a multi-million dollar contract or two out for something that will have no real impact on risk.

“House Education Committee Chairman John Moore, R-Brandon, said the carnage of the Newtown, Conn., school shooting could have been prevented if a worker had been armed.”

Really? 50 rounds a second (or whatever it is)? How do you stop that?

Wouldn’t a ban on assault weapons be smarter for stopping carnage?

Dear Insurance is fun, To answer your questions, how do you stop 50 rounds a second? You shoot the person that is firing the 50 rounds a second into the crowd of innocent children and faculty. That’s how. Ban assault weapons? Seriously, guns do NOT kill people, PEOPLE kill people. Geez!!!
