Nothing to help businesses on the WC reform, which equates to helping their fellow attorneys. Nothing on the AOB issue, which equates to helping fellow attorneys. And they did nothing towards making it illegal to text and drive! Pretty productive session. Time to find more non-lawyer people to represent us Floridians…

Why would they ever kill the goose that laid the golden egg? Attorney’s, Attorney’s, Attorney’s.

Another House & Senate controlled by Republicans who can’t reach an agreement on badly needed reform. Can you blame the Dem’s for this?

The Trial Lawyers Association is overwhelmingly Democratic and they apparently have a very effective lobby and use blackmail as well to get their way.

Are you sincerely saying Democratic Trial Lawyers successfully lobbied and blackmailed Republican law makers into making this decision????

A Republican Governor with a Republican majority in both houses, and nothing significant accomplished. Where have we heard that before?

But, of course, it is the Democrats’ fault.

Ron – I heard from someone that Democrats blackmailed Republicans so they wouldn’t make a decision. There’s no evidence of it, but I heard it somewhere so I know it’s true. (end sarcasm)

Ironic that Republicans preach personal responsibility, yet always find someone else to blame even when they have the power.

            Here is the cycle:

            Republicans do nothing
            Voters get frustrated
Democrats take over and actually govern
Republicans complain using false information to confuse low information voters
            Republicans regain control
            Rinse and Repeat

The Oregon State Accident Insurance Fund (SAIF) has 53.7% of the Oregon Worker’s Compensation market AND keeps Workers Compensation costs low for Oregon employers. A model worth replicating.

Let’s see. They fail to do a budgfet on time. Do not fix worker comp. Didn’t get rid of no fault insurance. Didn’t fix AOB abuse for florida’s homeonwers insurance industry, didn’t implement medial marijuana that was approved by 71% of the ovters. So what exactly did the Florida legislature do in this session?

Gave their constituants more reasons to vote out the incumbants in their next mid-term elections?
