To restore power to 6,625,000 homes and businesses in 10 days is pretty damn good! The storm Irma covered the whole state of Florida, so in addition to 6,700,000 homes and businesses without power, there was also a lot of geography to cover. Wilma was more concentrated in the southern Florida.
While it sucks to be without power in 90+ degree heat, FP&L did a great job. To those who choose to complain, think about Puerto Rico and how they may go 4 to 6 months without power.
Jack, did the N/E states volunteer to help restore power like the southern states did after Sandy? They were told to go back home if they weren’t union.

I have seen many electrical workers and trucks from other states.
You can’t please SOME people ANY of the time.
