Very interesting article and I would expect to see additional FL cities, and those in other areas with rising sea levels, adopting policies that help their communities adapt to these potentially catastrophic changes. Would be very interested to see exactly how this fund is setup and what it will specifically be used for (research, planning, mitigation, buyouts, etc..). With respect to other cities, it seems very forward thinking. With respect to sea level increase predictions, it may be too little too late to fund the total devastation that they may cause if the predictions are realized.
