The American Agents Alliance has landed California Insurance Commissioner candidates John Garamendi (Democrat) and Gary Mendoza (Republican) as its keynote speakers for Conference & Expo 2002, being held Sept. 18-22 at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage.
Garamendi and Mendoza will be speaking at different time slots and therefore will not be interacting in any form of debate. Each candidate will address Conference & Expo 2002 participants and will have the opportunity to share their viewpoints with California’s population of broker-agents and other industry representatives.
Along with the candidates, the trade show will highlight 106 exhibitor booths.
Bob Hogeboom of Barger and Wolen will be returning to Conference & Expo 2002 to present a continuing education seminar worth two continuing education credits. Hogeboom’s seminar this year will be a question & answer session which will allow producers to have their concerns answered. Another continuing education seminar will be taught by Dennis Ward of the CDI and will go over the correct way to handle one’s agency trust account.
