Typical bureaucratic BS from people who have no clue how to run a business. These guys must be from New York where they raid the guaranty fund to balance the budget, then reasses the insurance companies to make up the shortage. When are these “elected representatives of the people” (sic) going to learn to stop spending more than they take in. Run the state like a business, for a budget surplus (oh, the horrors, spend less than they take in and make a profit).
I agree with Jimbo’s comments 100%. If these governmental entities were business, they all would have been bankrupt years ago. It’s just too bad they’re not held accountable for their actions… perhaps if they had shareholders to answer to, they would think twice!
