It would certainly be nice to see the AIA take a “stand” as to whether it thinks the recommended workers compensation insurance rate reduction is achievable, or not. I believe we all know the road ahead is going to be rough and heavily-trod, but of importance to us as brokers (and to our insureds) is what the “market” is going to DO in response to the Commissioner’s recommendation….not, “Oh, isn’t that nice.” Tough times require tough actions…and MY insured(s) wish to know: “How much tougher is getting workers compensation insurance going to get?” Thank you.
